General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("GTC") govern the contractual relationship between Trottinette des Mers Nice (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") and any customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer") wishing to book an electric sea scooter session.
Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions define the terms under which Trottinette des Mers Nice provides electric sea scooter rental and guided session services in Nice, France.
Article 2 – Booking and Payment
All bookings are confirmed only after full payment of the session fee has been received. Payment can be made online through our secure website. A booking becomes final and binding once the confirmation email has been sent.
Article 3 – Participation Requirements

The activity is available to participants from 5 years old, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

The maximum weight per sea scooter is 150 kg (330 lbs).

No boating license is required.

Participants must be in good general health. If in doubt, it is recommended to consult a physician before taking part in the activity.

The consumption of alcohol or psychoactive substances is strictly prohibited before and during the session.

Wearing the provided life jacket is mandatory throughout the entire session.
Article 4 – Equipment Provided
For each session, the Provider supplies:

A BlueWay electric sea scooter

A certified life jacket adapted to the participant's size

A waterproof bag for personal belongings

A comprehensive safety briefing before entering the water

Professional supervision throughout the session
Article 5 – Liability and Safety
The Customer agrees to follow all safety instructions provided during the briefing.
Trottinette des Mers Nice shall not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from a participant's failure to comply with these safety instructions.
The Provider reserves the right to terminate a session immediately, without refund, if a participant behaves in a manner that is considered dangerous to themselves or others.
Article 6 – Cancellation and Refunds
The cancellation and refund policy is detailed in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Article 7 – Personal Data
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 8 – Governing Law and Disputes
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings. Failing such a resolution, the competent courts of Nice, France, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Article 9 – Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
Trottinette des Mers Nice reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable version shall be the one in effect on the date the booking is made.
